This contrast enhanced sagittal (from the side) MRI view through the facial region and frontal lobes shows a large mass in the sinonasal region growing superiorally into the inferior frontal region of the brain. This type of tumour- is an olfactory neuroblastoma also called an esthesioneuroblastoma. It arises from the neuroepithelium of the olfactory cells within the upper nasal cavity.
