Broken elbow. X-ray of a posterior fracture-dislocation (upper left) of the olecranon of the right elbow. The olecranon is the bony protrusion formed by the proximal (upper) end of the ulna bone (down left). To the right of the ulna is the radius, the other lower arm bone. The humerus (upper arm bone) is at upper right. This injury was treated by insertion of a plate and screws to hold the bone together as it healed.
