Furred element from immersion heater. An immersion heater consists of a water tank fed by cold water which enters at the bottom. A heating element heats the water which rises by convection and exits via a hot water pipe at the top. The coating is due to deposition of carbonates of calcium and magnesium salts present in water. | |
