African leopard (Panthera pardus) feeding on prey in a tree. These leopards are mostly active at night, and are solitary creatures that spend a lot of time in trees. Although they can be found in various parts of Africa, their population is declining, and they have been classified as 'vulnerable' by the International Union for Conservation of Nature's (IUCN) Red List. Photographed in the Ndutu Conservation Area, Serengeti, Tanzania. | |
