Yellow-billed oxpeckers (Buphagus africanus) on the back of a cape buffalo (Syncerus caffer). These birds perch on cape buffalos and other mammals to eat the ticks and other parasites found them. The oxpeckers get food and the buffalos get pest control. Photographed in Kenya. | |
