William H. Grier (1926-2015), American psychiatrist. Grier practiced as a psychiatrist in San Francisco, USA and was an assistant professor of psychiatry at University of California Medical Center. He is best known for co-writing the book Black Rage (1968) with psychiatrist Price M. Cobbs. The book looked at the anger felt by black people due to the legacy of slavery in the USA from a psychiatric point of view. | |
