Preparation of a graft for anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction surgery. During ACL reconstruction the torn ligament is removed and replaced with a tendon, most commonly taken from a hamstring. The grafts are folded to increase their thickness and durability, minimising risk of failure once implanted into the patient's body. | |
