Cube Houses, in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. These houses were designed by the architect Piet Blom in 1984, as an experiment in high-density city living. They are cubes turned 45 degrees and mounted on columns. Nearly a quarter of the living area is unavailable due to the angled ceilings and walls. | |
