Rash on the leg of a patient with Majocchi's granuloma. This infection of the hair follicles is a rare form of ringworm (tinea), a fungal infection of the skin that is highly contagious. This infection has previously been incorrectly treated with steroids rather than an antifungal agent. When this occurs the condition is known as tinea incognita. | |
