An illustration of Tesla's geothermal power generator. Nikola Tesla (1856-1943) was a Serb-American physicist, mechanical engineer and electrical engineer whose patents and theoretical work formed the basis of modern alternating current electric power (AC) systems. In 1943, the Supreme Court of the United States credited him as being the inventor of the radio. He had many ideas for environmentally-friendly sources of power on a grand scale, including wind, solar and geothermal power. | |
