This patient is receiving intravenous (iv) fluids (into his right arm) and oxygen via a nasal cannula. He wears a pulse oximeter on his right index finger. This measures the oxygen saturation levels in his blood. It may also measure his heart rate. Ideally oxygen saturation should fall between 95 and 100 percent. | |
