Iris Nebula is a reflection nebula 1, 300 light years away in the constellation Cepheus. The nebula is illuminated by blue light coming from the young star SAO 19158. The brown tint on the grainy dust comes partly from photoluminescence, with dust converting ultraviolet radiation into red light.
