Positive Covid-19 antibody test. Rapid lateral flow test for SARS-CoV-2 antibodies showing a positive result for Immunoglobulin M (IgM). The dark pink line at upper right of the test is the control to confirm the test has been conducted correctly. The pale pink line next to the 'M' indicates the presence of IgM. This suggests that the patient has a recent (typically within 7-14 days) response to the SARS-CoV-2 virus, the causative agent of Covid-19. This points to either a recent or active infection by the virus, even if the patient displays no symptoms. This lateral flow test produces a result in ten minutes.
