Spiral galaxy NGC 1706, NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope. NGC 5468 is located in the constellation Virgo about 140 million light-years from Earth. There is a small central bright bar region and loose, spiral arms which have a blue colour due to the formation of hot, young stars. | |
