Bassler's Humming Frog (Chiasmocleis bassleri) is a microhylid frog endemic to the upper Amazon Basin. They spend much of their lives in the leaf litter and below ground. They feed at night and eat ants and termites. This specimen was photographed in Amazonian Peru in 2019. (Composite image) | |
