The Banded Cat-eyed Snake (Leptodeira annulata) inhabits wet tropical forest from Panama south through the Amazon Basin to forests in Argentina. It is also found on Trinidad and Tobago. This individual was observed in a tract of rainforest off of the main branch of the Amazon River, Loreto, Peru, 2018. This is a juvenile. | |
