This Midget Crayfish (Faxonius nana) was observed, in-situ, in the Osage Creek Drainage, Benton Co, AR, USA, April 2019. Females keep their eggs attached to the underside of their tail a condition known as being 'in berry.' The hatchling crayfish continue to live on their mom s tail for one to several weeks before dropping off and living the rst of their lives on their own. | |
