SCUBA Diver using reef hook. When diving in strong currents SCUBA Divers can use a simple device called a reef hook. This device hooks onto a rock or solid object on the reef and the other end clips onto the divers buoyancy control device at waist level. It enables the diver to remain stationary even in strong current without exerting much energy and therefore consuming less gas supply. | |
