Bacteria found in dog's paw caused by grass seed infection, coloured scanning electron micrograph (SEM). Dogs often suffer infections in their paws caused by stepping on grass seeds which then penetrate and become embedded in the paw. In this case the grass seed was easily removed and the bacteria surrounding the removed seed and causing the infection can be seen. Magnification: x8000 when printed at 10 cm wide | |
