Jupiter, JunoCam image. This view shows Jupiter's stormy northern hemisphere. NASA's Juno spacecraft arrived at Jupiter in July 2016. It has been orbiting Jupiter, gathering information about the planet's atmosphere, magnetic field and gravitational field. The image data from its JunoCam are made available for processing by citizen scientists. This image was obtained on 29 May 2019, during perijove 20, and processed by Kevin M. Gill. | |
