Autunia conferta fossil fern. Autunia is a genus of early Permian seed ferns, now long extinct. The dense leaflets are characteristically attached obliquely to the vein. The branching of the veins is featherlike with some veins coming directly from the main axis. The leaflets are about 1 cm long and 5 mms wide. | |
