Ursa Major and Big Dipper, in the night sky over the Pulo do Lobo stretch of the Guadiana River, in the Alqueva Dark Sky Reserve, Portugal. The Big Dipper is an asterism of seven stars in the constellation of Ursa Major (the Great Bear), forming the well-known shape seen here.
