A lone random meteor streaks across the winter Milky Way, and through Auriga and Taurus toward Orion, on December 12, 2017. While this was the night before the peak of the annual Geminid meteor shower, this was not a Geminid as it was going in the wrong direction. Taken near Portal, Arizona, USA. | |
