This axial (cross sectional) contrast enhanced CT image shows a destructive, aggressive, mass in the anterior nasal vault, ethmoid air cells and the adjacent orbit (where the eyeball is). There are postoperative changes with mesh reconstruction of the left side of the nose and the anterior medial wall of the orbit. This mass is Squamous Cell Carcinoma and is the most common head and neck malignancy. | |
