Pinch the victim's nose to close the nostrils. Take a deep breath, cover the victim's mouth completely with yours, and blow into it. For an adult, complete two rescue breaths each lasting approximately one second. Move your mouth away and release the nostrils while observing whether the victim's chest lowers. If the chest of the victim does not move on the first try, move the head back into position and blow into the mouth again | |
