The genital organs that make up the male reproductive system ensure the sexual and endocrine functions. Some are located outside of the body, like the testicles. They are contained in the scrotum (or bursa), whose dense skin supports and protects them. Also external, the penis is traversed by the urethra and ends with the glans. The male internal glands (prostate, seminal vesicles, and Cowper's glands) secrete the seminal liquid that contains sperm cells and makes up sperm. | |
