Frenchman Gaston Bozerian constructed a shower bath with which the bather can operate a pump by a simple walking movement, thus causing the water to circulate constantly so that only a little water is required. This was a particular advantage if one wanted to take a hot shower. Once the water reached the desired temperature, a slight degree of heating was needed to maintain it at that level. A rail allowed the bather to maintain balance while bathing. | |
