Lead (II) sulphate precipitate. Lead (II) nitrate is added to a test tube containing copper sulphate. Both solutions are 0.5 M concentration. Lead (II) sulphate precipitate is formed as a result: Pb(NO3)2 + CuSO4 -> PbSO4 + Cu(NO3)2. This is an example of a double displacement reaction. | |
