A battery-operated TENS (Transcutaneous Electric Nerve Stimulation) apparatus with four electrodes is applied to the knee of an elderly women to reduce post-operation pain after knee joint replacement surgery. The TENS apparatus (program P3) shows electric current separately for the 2 pairs of electrodes. The surgery scar on the knee is still noticeable. | |
