Red-eyed tree frog (Agalychnis callidryas). This frog is found in the tropical rainforests of central America, where it lives in trees and other vegetation. Each toe ends with a sucker, which is used to grasp leaves and stems. It is primarily nocturnal, and feeds mainly on insects such as moths, flies and grasshoppers. It reaches lengths of around 7 centimetres. Photographed in Costa Rica. | |
