The greater painted-snipe (Rostratula benghalensis) is a species of wader in the family Rostratulidae. It is found in marshes in Africa, India and Pakistan. This female vagrant was photographed in the Auob riverbed of the Kgalagadi transfrontier park in the rain season. | |
