Stage II is where the tumour is found only in the prostate, and it can be felt during a rectal examination. By the later stages, the cancer has spread to other organs (bladder and rectum). Prostate cancer is most prevalent in men over 50 years of age. Treatment is with hormone therapy, chemotherapy, or surgical removal of the prostate.
