Ethylene vinyl acetate is a versatile plastic, often used as inexpensive shoe midsoles. However, over time, it becomes compressed and will no longer provide cushioning. Foam ethylene vinyl acetate, or Phylon, uses a process where the EVA pellets are heat expanded twice and then compressed and cooled in an injection mould. This preserves the EVA properties of softness, lightness and flexibility but for much longer. These garden clogs are made entirely of Phylon and are much lighter than similar products. | |
