Pearl McIver (1893-1976), US nurse and medical administrator. McIver was the first United States Public Health Service consultant on nursing administration. She served as chief of public health nursing services at the US Department of Health, Education, and Welfare. She received the Albert and Mary Lasker Foundation Public Service Award in 1955. She was inducted into the American Nurses Association Hall of Fame in 2014. Photographed in 1955. | |
