The spacecraft flew past Venus in April 1998 and June 1999, then past Earth in August 1999. These gravitational assistance manoeuvres were designed to increase the spacecraft's speed for the trip to Saturn. It flew past Jupiter in December 2000 and reached Saturn in July 2004. | |
