The ice of blue icebergs contains fewer air bubbles than those appearing more or less white. On rainy days such as as this one, their colour appears particularly intense. The dark stain is from sediment carried by the glacier. This big iceberg is floating in Burgerbukta, part of Hornsund, Spitsbergen, Svalbard, Norway. | |
