The brightest star is Eltanin or Gamma Draconis (orange, far right), part of a set of four stars at one end of the constellation. The other stars form an arc from lower centre to upper left. This constellation has 14 main stars. It is one of the 88 modern constellations adopted by the International Astronomical Union in 1922. | |
