Epibatidine. Molecular model of the poisonous alkaloid epibatidine (C11.H13.Cl.N2), secreted from the skin of the tropical Ecuadorian frog Epipedobates tricolour. The poison causes numbness and eventually lethal paralysis of the respiratory muscles.
