Students in a hospital classroom. These students are studying at the Lacor School of Nursing and Midwifery, part of St Mary's Hospital, Lacor, Gulu, Uganda. The hospital was founded by Catholic missionaries in 1959, and the wall murals show the hospital's first surgeons: Lucille Teasdale (1929-1996) and Piero Corti (1925-2003), who married in 1961. The murals also show the hospital supervisor and physician Matthew Lukwiya (1957-2000) who died while fighting the Ebola outbreak in Uganda in 2000.
