Ribbon seal (Phoco fasciata) resting on an ice floe. Ribbon seals are found throughout the Arctic regions of the Pacific ocean. They live on ice shelves and rarely venture into coastal areas. Their diet mainly consists of fish but pups may also eat crustaceans.
