Rainbow lorikeets (Trichoglossus haematodus) feeding in a group. This brightly-coloured bird inhabits rainforests and coastal areas in eastern Australia. Large flocks also gather in gardens. This lorikeet is adapted to a diet of flowers,particularly their nectar and pollen. In captivity it takes fruits,cereals and honey.
