Blue shark. The blue shark (Prionace glauca) is found throughout the world apart from in colder waters. It tends to follow huge shoals of fish such as tuna and mackerel,its main prey. It also feeds on other sharks,squid and mammals such as dolphins. It has been known to attack humans,although it rarely ventures into coastal waters.
