Sea slug,or nudibranch (Antiopella sp.). The body of this sea slug is covered in cerata (yellow and blue),projections that increase its surface area, and are the main sites of gaseous exchange,as it has no true gills. The two longer projections at upper left are rhinophores, which are used for sensing chemicals in the water. Sea slugs typically feed on sponges, corals or hydroids (coral-like organisms) | |
