Waxing gibbous moon at 12 days. The dark regions or "seas" visible are the Mare Crisium (far right,near the moon's eastern limb),with the Mare Fecunditatis below it & the twin Mare Serenitatis (top) & Mare Tranquillitatis to their left. The large sea at top left,towards the terminator,is the Mare Imbrium; the sea at lower left is the Mare Nubium. To the left of the Mare Imbrium is the Oceanus Procellarum.
