This axial (cross sectional) contrast enhanced MRI image of the brain shows the typical findings seen with Sturge-Weber syndrome. This entity is also called encephalo-trigeminal angiomatosis. It is classified as one of the neurocutaneous disorders. It is characterized by lepto-meningeal angiomatosis,a port-wine stain in the distribution of the trigeminal nerve and seizures.
