A laboratory water bath is an electronic heater that can maintain water at a predetermined temperature so that samples can be incubated, reagents warmed and substrates melted. Digital water baths have a temperature control and easy to read temperature gauge. The temperature protection system tracks the set temperature and controls the heater in the event of a fault, while a low level water sensor cuts the power to prevent the bath boiling dry. Heater elements are mounted underneath the tank to allow easy cleaning and there is a drain to empty the bath. The minimum set temperature is 25 degrees Celsius and,in this small desktop model, racks of test tubes can be heated up to 99.9 degrees Celsius | |
