The Evergreen Robber Frog (Craugastor gollmeri) has suffered population declines across its range in Costa Rica and Panama. The declines have come in the wake of the amphibian communicable disease caused by chytrid fungus, chytridiomycosis. This species has been bred successfully in captivity but rearing the juveniles still poses challenges. This frog was photographed in 2008 in the Atlanta Botanical Garden's amphibian conservation laboratory | |
