Frill necked Lizard,(Chlamydosaurus kingii). This large dragon lizard,or agamid,occurs over tropical Australian in open forests and dry woodlands and savannah country. It grows to a total length of around 80cms. It feeds on insects,spiders and smaller lizards. Its frill is erected as an aggressive/defensive display and also for heat dispersion.
