Wavyleaf or pasture thistle,Cirsium undulatum. Unlike many of our native thistles,this is a stoloniferous,clump-forming,perennial species. This thistle plant is covered with a fine white tomentum,imparting a gray or silver color to the foliage. The flowers can vary from pale lavendar-pink to white.
