Slender-billed kea. Engraving of the extinct slender-billed kea,Nestor productus. This parrot,also known as the Phillips Island parrot and the Norfolk Island kaka,has been extinct since the 1860s. It lived on the Phillips Islands and Norfolk Island in the Pacific Ocean. N. productus had dark plumage and a long,narrow bill.
